Buzz Corry, Commander in Chief of the Space Patrol, is returning to Terra from Earth, accompanied by his new Cadet, Happy, winner of the Corry Scholarship, when he spots what he believes to be a derelict guided missile floating in space. As the Space Patrol battle cruiser closes in to destroy it, the missile heads for it, narrowly missing, then turns and strikes again. The missile is in reality a cosmic bomb controlled by Major Gorla from his fortress on Kars. The Major, with the help of Marta, an assistant to the Secretary General on Terra, plots to conquer the United Planets beginning with the murder of Commander Corry.

Superior, low-budget 'film noir,' quietly but steadily gripping the viewer with unusually subtle characterizations and solid acting. Amazingly "adult" for its time. The ravishing Mary Beth Hughes and the charismatic Charles Russell strike palpable erotic sparks. And the relationship between Russell and the young lad who witnessed his crime but hero-worships him all the same has implicit "homoerotic" undertones that must have eluded the napping censors.

After sucking the blood and turning the young Lucy Weston into a vampire, Dracula turns his attention to her friend Mina Seward, daughter of Dr. Seward who then calls in a specialist, Dr. Van Helsing, to diagnose the sudden deterioration of Mina's health. Van Helsing, realizing that Dracula is indeed a vampire, tries to prepare Mina's fiance, John Harker, and Dr. Seward for what is to come and the measures that will have to be taken to prevent Mina from becoming one of the undead. After several people in the New Mexico desert wind up missing or dead, including an F.B.I. agent and most of his family, police Sgt. Ben Peterson teams up with F.B.I. agent Bob Graham to find out what's causing the strange occurrences. They find send a strange print found at one of the crime scenes and it is sent to the Department of Agriculture. Doctor Harold Medford and his daughter Doctor Patricia Medford arrive and ask to be taken to the scene of some of the disappearances. When they get there they are shocked to find gigantic ants, whose mutations were caused by the first atomic bomb explosion nine years earlier. They manage to destroy the nest of ants, but not before two winged queen ants and a couple of drones have hatched and escaped the nest. Now it is a race against time to find the two queen ants before they can establish more nests and hatch more queens.

That was 45 years ago. This episode has the Jitterbug scenes. Fantastic performances by Huntz Hall, Leo Gorcey in one of his best roles. Pamela Burke as Dannys girl is gorgeous. Lamont Cranston, amatuer criminologist and detective, with a daily radio program, sponsored by the Daily Classic newspaper, has developed a friendly feud that sometimes passes the friendly stage with Police Commissioner Weston (Thomas Jackson.) He complains to his managing editor, Edward Heath (Oscar O'Shea), over the problems that have developed in his department since Phoebe Lane (Astrid Allwyn) has been hired as his assistant. He is advised to forget it since she is the publisher's niece. During his broadcast about Honest John (William Pawley), a famous safe cracker who has served his time, Phoebe gives him a note that the Metropolitan Theatre is to be robbed at eight o'clock and she is so insistent that he adds it as his closing note. Off the air, he learns she got the information from a man she met in a cafe who had an honest face. Cranston goes to the theatre where Weston and his men have gathered and, of course, nothing happens but, across town, a safe is blown at the home of international banker Gerald Morton and the banker is killed.Cranston arrives there ahead of the police and discovers enough evidence to show him that it wasn't just a simple robbery with the banker accidently killed. The irate Weston has him jailed as a material witness, but Phoebe comes through with a habeas corpus in time for him to make his broadcast. And Now.....THE SHADOW !!

Loosely inspired by the John Greenleaf Whittier poem of the same name, the film stars Jackie Moran as Billy Whittaker, a country lad whose idyllic lifestyle is thrown into confusion upon the arrival of arrogant reform-school graduate Kenneth Hale (Braley Metcalf). Not only does Kenneth tear down everything that Billy holds dear, but he also has the audacity to make a play for Billy's sweetheart Pige Blaine (Marcia Mae Jones). Eventually Kenneth reforms his ways and becomes a "regular guy", but not without a bit of bare-knuckle persuasion from Billy and a brief escapade involving a gang of out-of-town bond swindlers. The film was directed by(Karl Brown), a former cinematographer with an unerring eye for gorgeous exterior shots.

When Jim Hadley retires from the Fire department, he hardly knows what to do with himself, he's 65 you see, and the fire department kicked him off because of his age. But when an arsonist lets loose on the city, Jim is at first reluctant to going back into firefighting, but caves in when his best friend on the force dies. The race is on to find the arsonist before it hits too close to home! This actually was a LOT of fun. Aside from the stock footage of fires which was great (a lot of it I've actually seen before), I truly LOVED the arsonist played by George Penbrooke, He brought a great sinister quality mixed in with some ridiculousness for good measure. His intensity could easily be matched with someone like Willem Defoe. I always looked forward to seeing him on the screen again. Didn't really like the ridiculous ending. Why was he remaining in the house?

Alas his pop’s gambling ways spoil the surprise as he gambles away the money meant for the Christmas treat. But the thoughtful judge comes along and invites Jimmy and his boys over for a Christmas feast, where Anne (Marjorie Reynolds), the judge’s niece, is more than happy to meet all of them. But alls not well for Jimmy, his racketeer wealthy brother Tap Keenan (Dick Purcell) is up to no good and is constantly in the news for all the wrong reasons. When the cops are on the look out for him after he murders someone, he runs to Jimmy for help, while the latter refuses to give in. Eventually Jimmy’s little friend Gimpy gets shot in the bargain.

Speculation rests on a radiation-covered NASA satellite returning from Venus, but it only remains a speculation. Anyone who dies during the crisis of causes unrelated to brain trauma will return as a flesh-eating zombie, including anyone who has been bitten by a zombie. The only way to destroy the zombies is to destroy the brain. As the catastrophe unfolds, a young woman visiting her father's grave takes refuge in a nearby farmhouse, where she is met by a man who protects her and barricades them inside.

The origins of Dragnet can be traced to a semi-documentary film noir, He Walked by Night (1948), in which Webb had a small role. Webb created a radio series for NBC that had many similarities with the film. Not only did both employ the same L.A.P.D. technical advisor, they also made use of actual police cases, narration that provided information about the workings of the police department, and a generally low-key, documentary style. In the radio drama Webb starred as Sgt. Joe Friday and Barton Yarborogh played his partner. The success of the radio show led to a Dragnet television pilot, aired as an episode of Chesterfield Sound Off Time in 1951, and resulted in a permanent slot for the series on NBC Television's Thursday night schedule in early 1952.
